Youth 3 on 3 Hockey Tournament

We invite you to participate in the inaugural Flatwater North 3 on 3 Outdoor Hockey Tournament. This tournament is a FUNDRAISING event for our organization. All the funds raised will go directly to upgrading our equipment and facility at the Schwatka Lake Day Use Area. The event will take place on Saturday January 19th, 2019 at the Lorne Mountain outdoor rink located at KM1 Annie Lake Road.

As this is the first year, we will be keeping the event relatively small, low-key and most importantly FUN!

There will be two divisions, a Mixed Adult Division (Age 14 – Up) and a Youth Division (Age 9-13) with 6 teams registered in each division. Teams need to have 4-6 players per team. Round robin play will start at 10:00 am to 1:40 pm and the playoffs/final will run from 1:45 pm to 4:00 pm. All round robin games and playoff games will be 15 minutes. All teams are guaranteed six games: five round robin games and one playoff game. Top two teams from the round robin will get a bye to semis.

The outdoor ice surface will be divided into three playing surfaces. This will maximize playing time as we will have all six teams from each division play at once. The schedule will start with the Youth games and alternate with the Mix Adult games which gives everyone break between games.

Fees are $200 per team (4-6 players) which includes a lunch, a drink and a gift. Lunch items and other snack foods will also be available for purchase on site.

To sign up, team captains need to fill in their information and team information using this link. They can then download the rules, waiver and other information (see attached document) and send your team fees via E-transfer to [email protected] or pay by credit card on this site. Waivers will be collected during registration on the 19th.
