CANCELLED Youth 3 on 3 Hockey Tournament

Welcome to our Second Annual Flatwater North 3 on 3 Outdoor Hockey Tournament on Saturday January 4th, 2020 at Lorne Mountain outdoor rink (KM 1 Annie Lake Road). This tournament is a FUNDRAISING event for our organization. All the funds raised will go directly to help us run our summer programs. Registration deadline December 30, 2019.

Flatwater North wants to make this event a SAFE and FUN for everyone. The format will be JAMBOREE style, where youth, both boys and girls, sign up individually to the event. The first 72 youth to sign up will play in the tournament. These youth will then be divided into 12 different teams depending on their skill level and age. MANDATORY GEAR: Helmet, gloves, skates, white & dark jersey. Recommend shin pads, jock/jill.

There will be two divisions with 6 teams in each division. Teams will consist of up to 6 players. Round robin play starts at 10:00 am to 1:40 pm and the playoffs/final run from 1:40 pm to 3:20 pm. All round robin games are 15 minutes and playoff games are 20 minutes. All teams are guaranteed six games: five round robin games and one playoff game.

The outdoor ice surface is divided into three playing surfaces. This will maximize playing time as all six teams from each division play at once. The first games start at 10:00 am sharp.

Fees are $50/player which includes a minimum of 6 games, lunch, drink and a gift. Lunch items and other snack foods are also available for purchase by donation on site.
